Climbing
2.5 days of guided climbing with technical skills clinics and professional and knowledgeable queer guides!

Camping & Community
3 nights of camping on private property in a private setting. (We will not be providing food or camping gear but if you need camping gear we will try to accommodate)
Evening Activities to build connections and community
The camping facilities can be rustic, with composting toilets or porta potties for bathrooms. Please come prepared to camp in this environment!
This year we have added an additional day and are trying a new approach to the structure of Climb OUT Campout with activity tracks geared towards interests and experience. Our hope is to make this event more accessible to a broader audience as well as cater to more specific interests. Regardless of the track you select, we’ll share climbing most of our days, our campsite, and downtime together.
Build Community Track
Build Skills Track


Build Community is geared for first time and beginner outdoor climbers looking to build queer climbing community and the skills needed to climb outdoors safely.
Build Skills is geared towards more experienced, intermediate to advanced climbers looking to grow their technical skills and become stronger, more efficient and well rounded in a queer affinity setting
Prerequisites:

NONE - except for an eagerness to learn and have fun!

First time climbers and beginner outdoor climbers
This track will introduce participants to outdoor climbing skills and techniques. After this weekend we hope participants can get out to their local crag or gym with friends and feel confident and comfortable to safely participate, armed with new knowledge and skill.
Your guides will adjust the days out to your comfort level and physical ability - all experience levels welcome!

This track is meant for climbers who have a deeper understanding of basic climbing systems and techniques and are looking to take their next steps. After this weekend, we hope participants will leave with a new understanding of climbing and a toolbox of new technical skills to help them become stronger, more efficient and more well rounded climbers.
This track is more structured around skill based clinics. We will offer a full day of technical skill clinics that will include both climbing and ground school.
