LGBTQIA2S+ Anchors & Rappelling 1.5 Day Clinic

This 1.5 day clinic is meant to give you all the tools to understand and implement sport climbing anchors and rappelling. Becasue there is so much information to convey we have made this course one 4-hour evening at a climbing gym and one full 8 hour day outside at a locla crag! 

Friday Evening - This first 4 hour evening will introduce the basics of anchor building. We will cover everything from anchoring materials, concepts around anchor design and practice the techniques taught. This section of the course will take place at Bend Rock Gym on Friday evening from 5-9pm.

Saturday Full Day - This full day, 8 hour clinic will take the skills learned friday evening and put them to action in real life at the crag! In the morning you'll practice building anchors and we will teach how to clean anchors and transition to lowering or rappelling. In the Afternoon everyone will have the chance to rappel!
