On the ancestral stolen lands of the Tenino and Northern Paiute tribes, now the Confederated Tribes or Warm Springs, Smith Rock State Park, the birthplace of modern sport climbing in the US, with its striking rock formations of welded volcanic tuff rises out of the Central Oregon high desert. This world-class climbing destination offers terrain for all ability levels including classic sport lines, technical trad climbing, adevnturous multi-pitches and amazing outdoor classroom spaces to learn and hang out.
